Thursday we leave for three weeks on the road. Unfortunately, in the past month, we have gotten rained out of basically every show in CA we planned on doing. I've been dodging calls and letters from bill collectors, we keep getting emails about all the booth fees that are due, and we are trying to figure out if we have enough gas money just to get to Arizona.
It's been a rough February so far. But I know I chose this life...and it's a life of uncertainty.
But also a life that is MINE and something that I built with someone I LOVE, doing something that I LOVE.
Even with all that going on, I'm extremely #HOPEFUL that this year will be everything we want it to be and MORE. We are in some pretty big shows this year, and I guarantee I will look back on how I'm feeling right now and laugh. But right now it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I know that as a business owner and someone that tries to remain positive, I shouldn't talk about these struggles. But I think it's also helpful for others to see that they aren't alone.
